Hi, and welcome to my website.

Here you will find some of my photos and an occasional blog about things going on in my life and stuff that interests/intrigues/outrages me. Nothing specific yet but let’s see what happens.

I don’t have a shop for my photographs as I haven’t yet found anything that works the way I want it to, so if you should want to use any of my photo’s on a one off basis please feel free to copy and paste but please do credit me and if you need to use them in bulk or require a greater resolution please contact me to arrange the purchase of a license. Thankyou.

A little bit about me: I was born in the East End of London and lived in Forest Gate where I attended Godwin Primary school, until I was about seven (I think) when we moved to Southend-on-sea/mud. I attended Chalkwell Park Primary School and then Belfairs Secondary Modern… ugh! Then a short stint at Southend Engineering College to try to get some sort of qualification in Maths, (which I didn’t) and I left to join the Royal Air Force as a photographer aged 20. My first unit after basic training at RAF Swinderby and trade training at RAF Cosford was RAF Lossiemouth, on the Moray Firth in Scotland. As soon as possible I managed to get posted to RAF Gütersloh in Germany with the Harrier Force, working at the Reconnaissance Intelligence Center attached to No4 Sqn. From there I was posted to the “Elephant’s graveyard” (JARIC) at RAF Brampton. And then to HQSTC at RAF High Wycombe. My last posting was RAF Odiham (home of the Chinook). After getting a HNC in Wildlife Management from Sparsholt College, I reluctantly left as a Cpl photographer/videographer after 22 years service and I am now struggling in civvie street to get behind a (video) camera again -It’s not what you know it’s who in this game!- I’ll fill in some of the gaps later.

Feel free to have a look around at what’s here so far and let me know what you think. Dave.
